Using and creating directives – Beginner to Intermediate
You’ve probably already used *ngIf, *ngFor and ngClass. Have you ever created a directive ? Why does *ngIf have a star and ngClass not ? Have your heard of structural directives ?
This talk is an introduction to the basic usage and creation of directives along with the some little more advanced stuff that will leverage your Angular skills.

Angular components patterns – Intermediate to Advanced
In this talk, we’ll see how it is possible to move an Angular component from completely static to very configurable (state and view) using inputs, content projection and template references.
– Basic inputs and ouptuts between parent and child components
– Write compound components using content projection
– Share parent component state using dependency injection
– React’s Render Prop pattern using template references
No advanced skills required, you’d need to know the basics of creating Angular components and directives, use inputs and outputs.
